Expand description

GPU compute capability (CUDA SM version).

Minimum supported: sm_75 (Turing). Triton’s MMA acceleration requires sm_75+; sm_70/sm_72 only have a deprecated FMA fallback path.

Variants§

§

Sm75

Turing: RTX 20xx, GTX 16xx, T4.

§

Sm80

Ampere datacenter: A100, A30.

§

Sm86

Ampere: RTX 30xx, A40, A10, A16.

§

Sm87

Ampere embedded: Jetson Orin (AGX/NX/Nano).

§

Sm89

Ada Lovelace: RTX 40xx, L4, L40S.

§

Sm90

Hopper: H100, H200.

§

Sm100

Blackwell datacenter: B100, B200, GB200.

§

Sm120

Blackwell: RTX 50xx (GB10x).

Implementations§

Source§

impl Capability

Source

pub fn from_major_minor(major: i32, minor: i32) -> Option<Self>

Looks up the Capability matching a CUDA (major, minor) compute-capability version.

impl Clone for Capability

Source§

fn clone(&self) -> Capability

Returns a duplicate of the value. Read more
1.0.0 (const: unstable) · Source§

fn clone_from(&mut self, source: &Self)

Performs copy-assignment from source. Read more

Source§

impl FromStr for Capability

Source§

fn from_str(s: &str) -> Result<Self, Self::Err>

Accepts the canonical sm_90 form as well as sm-90, sm90 and bare 90 (case-insensitive) — the latter forms are convenient for CLI args like --options capability=sm_90.

Source§

type Err = String

The associated error which can be returned from parsing.
Source§

impl Hash for Capability

Source§

fn hash<__H: Hasher>(&self, state: &mut __H)

Feeds this value into the given Hasher. Read more
1.3.0 · Source§

fn hash_slice<H>(data: &[Self], state: &mut H)
where H: Hasher, Self: Sized,

Feeds a slice of this type into the given Hasher. Read more
Source§

impl PartialEq for Capability

Source§

fn eq(&self, other: &Capability) -> bool

Tests for self and other values to be equal, and is used by ==.
1.0.0 (const: unstable) · Source§

fn ne(&self, other: &Rhs) -> bool

Tests for !=. The default implementation is almost always sufficient, and should not be overridden without very good reason.
